In 1876 the Original Phone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell, he designed a device that was able to transmit speech vibrations electronically between two receivers. No words were transmitted but sounds close to human speech were heard at the receiving end. Later on in the 1890's to 1930's the Candle Stick was invented, it consisted of two pieces the receiver and the mouth piece. The rotary telephone was introduced around the 30's they lost their popularity when push button phones came out in 1963.
